Darkwine is thrilled to be a part of the Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band 50th anniversary tribute show, as part of the Cosmic Joke Collective on June 3rd! What’s the Cosmic Joke Collective? A curated open-mic variety show that celebrates the artistic process of its diverse performers. During this show (which takes place during IthacaFest!), the collective will perform the Sgt. Pepper album in its entirety, also including Strawberry Fields Forever and Penny Lane, two songs that were recorded to be on the album, though were not included as part of it. Our larger band, The Uncommons, will also be tackling several songs from the album. Mark you calendars! It will surely be standing room only! Lot 10, downtown Ithaca, June 3rd, 7pm.
